Capitalism is dead. Socialism is dead. Long live economics.
I was just doing some surfing that got spurred by a quote attributed to Richard Heilbroner, which I ran across at Adbusters :
Before economics can progress it must abandon its suicidal formalism.
The truth is that true capitalism or socialism have left the building. Like all methodologies global economies are always adapting to need. All majors economies now are a hybrid of capitalist and socialist thought.
