Not because it is morally correct, but because it easy.
Pentagon papers were leaked by one of the top officals in the inner circle, the artichect of the plan.
Wikileaks gets it information from relatively low levels.
This is possible because information is too big, too easy to get. And it will continue to get easier.
Ultimately this is what wikileaks proves. That it is no longer even worth trying to contain info.
Manipulation and control is no longer possible simply by withholding information because of the large of persons it takes to maintain the information.
