The lost narrative of the American Way is the result of media dispersement. There is no center bring a new narrative together. With out a narrative we can't function as a democracy.
Despite the liberties and individuality promised by a democracy at it's core there must be a loose narrative that binds the national asperation into a workable discussion.
In current-speak the American Way needs an elevator pitch everyone can agree on.
