Similar to the Farmers almanac, but focusing on scheduled big events that will hit the media in 2010.
The idea being that news media likes the planned event; or events that can be packaged -- opposed to unpredictable or ambiguous news items like drug wars or poverty.
Things that should be include are :
Sporting Events:
- Superbowl, World Series, March Madness, Winter Olympics, world cup
Award shows and upcoming movies, TV shows
- Oscars, TV Fall season
- Political Elections
- National Holidays
